Roadmap

Last updated 29 October 2026 · 2 minute read

Eventfox is built in the open about what comes next. These are the features planned after the current release, roughly in the order they are likely to arrive. Nothing here is a promise of a date.

Session view

the "Show this session" button in the event drawer (15), already in the design.

CSV export

download the filtered Events list, top lists and funnel results.

Identify signed-in users

link events to a customer's own user ID, Standard mode only.

Retention cohorts

"of people who first came in week N, how many came back in weeks N+1, N+2…".

User journeys (paths)

the most common paths before or after a chosen page or event.

Custom dashboards

pin chosen charts, numbers, top lists and funnels to named dashboards per project.

Read API with secret keys

pull numbers into other tools.

Email reports and alerts

a weekly summary email and simple alerts ("no events for 6 hours", "page views down 50% day on day").

Single sign-on

sign in with Google, Microsoft or any OIDC provider.

Several organisations (agencies)

one install serving several client organisations, with people belonging to one or more.

Privacy extras

Honour Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC: 1) and Do Not Track per project setting: drop or downgrade to Privacy-mode treatment for those requests.

Mobile SDKs

iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) SDKs using the same /e batch API with a new sdk.name. Origin checks don't apply to apps, so this needs a separate "app key" type with its own abuse controls. Plan the key design first.

Very large installs

When: only if an install goes past about 30 million events a month or docs/SIZING.md's limits.

One-click install templates

Coolify, Easypanel, CapRover, Deploy to Render and cloud-init templates.

Session replay

rrweb recorder, Standard mode only, off by default, form fields always hidden, sampling, storage limit, drop-off recordings from funnels.

Heatmaps

clicks, rage clicks and scroll depth, no visitor IDs stored, drawn on the real page through a short-lived link.

A/B tests

the customer's code shows each version; Eventfox assigns, measures and gives a plain-English verdict. Who gets it is one constant, EXPERIMENTS_AVAILABILITY (free, business or addon), default business, mirrored in the website's pricing.ts.

Audit log (Business)

always recorded, viewable with Business.
